We are proud to announce that we have been selected as winners of the ED&FMAN MAS Program! This award means that we will receive funding to continue developing our Tractor Operator Training School program.
The ED&FMAN MAS Program aims to contribute to the development of the communities where molasses is sourced. By participating in this program, we are not only strengthening our relationship with ED&FMAN, but also contributing to community development.
The Tractor Operator Training School is a program that seeks to train women from nearby communities in the operation of agricultural machinery. With this program, we hope to empower women and provide them with job opportunities in the field. This award will allow us to continue and improve our work in training tractor operators.
In 2022, our Tractor Operator Training School was a great success. In October, 25 women from the communities of Santa Lucía Cotzumalguapa and La Gomera successfully completed the course, becoming leaders in their communities. Thanks to the ED&FMAN MAS Program, we can now expand and further improve this program.
We are excited to continue working and strengthening our relationship with ED&FMAN. We hope to continue contributing to community development and providing job opportunities for women in the agro-industry.
