For over 8 years, the BootCamp Enactus – Pantaleon has been the leading acceleration program in agricultural innovation, a joint initiative driven by Enactus Guatemala and Pantaleon. This collaborative effort aims to strengthen the business models of agricultural entrepreneurs by developing key skills and transferring specialized knowledge.
The program offers a structured methodology across 9 modules, covering essential topics such as:
- Business Pitch
- Differentiated Value Proposition
- Business Models for Agricultural Innovation
- Value Chain
- Financial Indicators
- Sales Strategies
- Target Market Profile
- Digital Marketing
- Brand and Business Image
Participants also receive personalized mentoring from experts at Enactus and Pantaleon, guiding them on how to integrate these tools into their projects. As part of Pantaleon’s commitment to innovation and agricultural development, entrepreneurs have the opportunity to compete for $5,000 in seed funding (non-reimbursable) to scale their initiatives.
The participation of our employees as mentors and judges reaffirms our commitment to sharing knowledge and experiences to support Guatemalan talent. Their guidance and support have been instrumental in the growth of these entrepreneurs, directly contributing to strengthening innovation and sustainable growth in the country.
In October 2024, the BootCamp reached its exciting finale, and we are proud to present the winners, whose initiatives are transforming agriculture in Guatemala:
First Place: Agrosoluciones
This sustainable project develops an eco-friendly hydrogel polymer made from agricultural biomass, optimizing soil moisture retention and benefiting farmers in Guatemala’s dry corridor affected by drought.
Second Place: Love & Tea
This Guatemalan brand empowers women in the agricultural value chain, offering unique tea blends made from local plants, fruits, and spices.
Third Place: La Parcela Tropical
Located in Escuintla, this company specializes in the sustainable production of green plantains and pest-free seeds through innovative techniques, promoting sustainability in agriculture.
At Pantaleon, we reaffirm our commitment to developing Guatemalan talent and creating sustainable solutions that benefit our communities.
