In October we finalized the seventh cohort of our Enactus Pantaleon BootCamp, the leading acceleration program for entrepreneurs developing ideas related to agricultural innovation. Our purpose is to develop the required skills and knowledge to strengthen their business model enabling growth and job opportunities in the region. The program´s methodology consists of 8 training modules on topics including business models, value chain, financial indicators, and sales, among others. In addition, selected entrepreneurs participate on a series of mentoring sessions with the support of professional experts from the Enactus and Pantaleon network. The program culminates with judges selecting 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, the first place receives US$5,000 in seed capital and the second and third place receive a specialized consultancy session.

FIRST PLACE: Tu Potrero by Luis Orellana y Abraham Díaz
A digital platform that offers solutions for the different actors in the agricultural industry. Its B2B model offers digital marketing solutions to companies in the agricultural sector. For its B2C users, they offer a livestock management app with a membership subscription model.
SECOND PLACE: Protento by Rogrigo Paz, Hersson Icú and Luis Albizurez
IPA Group, a company established in 2021 through its brand Protento is dedicated to producing 100% natural and sustainable protein raw material based on cockroach lobster for animal consumption and cricket flour for human consumption. Both products contain high nutritional values and can be utilized to replace animal protein.
THIRD PLACE: Avícola Santa Bárbara by Bárbara Gómez
This family business is based on the formulation and production of high-quality concentrates exclusively designed to optimize the performance and health of chickens at all stages of growth. Their passion for poultry farming drives them to develop their own formulas, carefully prepared to maximize the growth potential of birds. They utilize premium ingredients and apply an innovative approach, including the incorporation of medicated cores to ensure their products are some of the most effective on the market.
THIRD PLACE: Awinel Smart by Marco Palala
This start-up cultivates Lenma, transforming it into flour for the animal food industry and functional substances for the Plant Based human consumption industry such as protein, fiber, and pectin. The purifying properties of Lemna also generate important environmental benefits, mainly the conservation and protection of water sources.
