At Grupo Pantaleon, we believe that dialogue and close relationships with communities have been key to our 175-year history. That is why we were delighted to welcome residents from Rancho Fortaleza, Fegua Buena Vista, Xayá, El Socorro, San Pedrito, Miriam 1, and Miriam 2 to the Guatecaña Tour, an initiative designed to share how we operate with sustainability, innovation, and social commitment.
During the visit, participants learned about initiatives that reflect our vision of responsible development:
🔹 Front 23 of mechanized harvesting led by women at Ingenio La Unión: A clear example of how we promote inclusion and female leadership in the field.
🔹 Aerial drone application at Ingenio Pantaleon: Precision technology that optimizes resources and protects the environment, reaffirming our commitment to sustainability.
🔹 Fundazúcar Medical Clinics: Facilities that provide health and well-being to our communities, strengthening our bond with them.
🔹 Sugar Museum: A journey through the history and future of sugarcane, highlighting its impact on Guatemala’s development.
These interactions allow us to continue building relationships based on trust and transparency, fundamental pillars of our past and future. At Grupo Pantaleon, we are convinced that sustainable growth is only possible when we move forward together with the communities around us.
